CHASING RABBITS

There is an old adage about chasing rabbits. If you try to chase two rabbits, you will catch neither of them: thereby failing completely. Today’s Christians are chasing rabbits; today’s pastors are chasing rabbits; thereby failing Christ completely, in these last days. Christ taught this repeatedly in His Gospels.
Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
CHASING RABBITS
Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
MORE RABBITS
Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
RABBITS EVERYWHERE
(Christians, do you despise Christ? Christ said you do in verse 24. No, ye say?)
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Christians . . . this author knows you. This author is one of you. If you dismiss the last four verses above, then you are worshiping a false god that Satan is propping up in front of you every Sunday. (Oh, a great many “nominal” sabbath keepers do this also: know that!) There is only one person who desires you to dismiss the four verses of Matthew 6:25 – 28 and his name is Satan!
Never, ever, EVER dismiss the words of Christ!
Just work harder to understand them. That does not mean to sidestep them, it means to truly attempt to understand them and incorporate them into your lifestyle. It means placing Christ first in your life!
RABBITS, RABBITS, RABBITS EVERYWHERE! For Satan is in everything and Satan is everywhere! He is so cunning that we cannot even see him, usually. (He only reveals himself, occasionally through these-or-those odd folks, over there, but that is only to make us feel safe and comfortable over here. Oh, Satan is so cunning. Once we feel safe, because we can see him over there, we let our guard down, and Satan then enters our churches, our families, and our lives, over here!) But the Word of God and the commands of Christ shine a light upon Satan’s works in this world so that he might easily be discovered. This author does not know but a few of the restrictions that God has placed upon Satan, but one thing is certain: Satan will never direct any person towards obeying Christ’s Word, Christ’s commands, nor our following the Will of God.
In this author’s humble opinion, there is only one way for mankind to survive the events of Revelation that are nigh upon us these days. That is for each person being able to SEE the works of Satan IN THEIR LIVES. The horrible events that Christ describes in Revelation and other Gospels, are going to happen: there is no escaping these events! But if you can see Satan’s efforts all around you, and possibly even in your own life, you now have a chance to find redemption on the other side of Christ’s Wrath, which is described in Revelation, Ezekiel, and many other places of HIS Bible.
The other side of Christ’s Wrath? That would be Judgment Day when every person, that ever drew a breath, shall stand before Christ, their Judge. And it is written that on Judgment Day, not one person shall be wronged. (Christians, your pastors currently deny that you shall ever see Judgment Day: they are wrong. Add this to their long list of failures detailed here on this website.)

BACK TO CHASING RABBITS:
Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
(AUTHOR’S NOTE: The Gentiles were the unbelievers of that day. Did you catch that second part? Your LORD knows what you truly need! This is just one way He shall separate the believers from the unbelievers on Judgment Day. Start thinking about this, Westerners. You continually chase your “mammon,” but are you able to place your absolute TRUST in knowing that your LORD shall provide what you truly need? A very difficult decision for this western world of today! Just how much of your life are you willing to surrender to your LORD? If you cannot surrender your entire life to your LORD, maybe you don’t really believe in your LORD? Yes, this is hard for westerners and yes, this author is attempting to make it a bit harder, for a reason.)
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Mark 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Mark 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal. Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
Mark 10:20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Mark 10:22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
RABBITS! Mammon, BY ITSELF, can keep a person from following Christ.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
(AUTHOR’S NOTE: This letter of John was written about 60-years after Jesus was crucified. If there were many antichrists back in John’s day; when Christians were still fairly obedient, especially regarding Christ’s sabbath; then just how many antichrists exist in today’s evil world?)
That “antichrist” has always been here. Do not look for anything new.
No Christians, today, are worshiping our LORD in Heaven!
They are worshiping a FALSE IMAGE of Christ that Satan has placed in front of their eyes every Sunday.
They are worshiping the THINGS OF THIS WORLD, rather than worshiping God, and His commands.
Luke 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
And what are the “true riches?” You can read about them on our page titled “The Greatest Story.”
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Christians! If you are spending more time pursuing the things of this world (described in 1 John 2:15 above), than you are worshiping and obeying God, then you despise God! The things of this world? Social media, coveting and pursuing earthly goods, spending great amounts of time on YouTube, TikTok, and the others, watching TV all night long until bedtime, and many other similar things. Yes, these things are here in this world, but Christ teaches above that you are to spend MORE time serving Him than you do pursing mammon.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: So . . . just how much time do you, the reader here, spend learning the Word of God and the commands of Christ? It’s a fair question!
That word, “serve” in Luke 16:13 just above, also means “becoming a slave to.” It means “giving in to.” Strong’s “G1398.” (Link opens in a new window.) So yes, Christ is stating that if we are “giving in to” mammon, then we despise Him! Christians, it is not necessary that you agree with this, but it is necessary that you make this part of your life. Your pastors and teachers should have been teaching these words since you were a child. Because of their failures, you now are comfortable with this condition and consider your ILL-FATED condition to be normal. Why? Because you see it all around you! It is everywhere. Satan is everywhere and he is in everything! In these last days of mankind, normal is not good!

Please consider the beast, below, to be that mammon from above. Truly, the beast is the greater of the two because it includes much more than just mammon! But all mammon is a part of the beast. How big of a part? That depends on the person.
Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and HIS IMAGE, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and HIS IMAGE, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

This letter is titled, “Chasing Rabbits.” For nearly 2,000 years now, your Christian leaders have been chasing rabbits: you can see this in their lessons taught to you.
Chasing rabbits themselves? Yes, by teaching such things as:
“We don’t follow that Scripture for this or that reason.”
“We are the only church that has been baptized, born again, and saved.”
“All Christians, besides ours are going to hell, for this or that reason.”
“There is only one True Church and it is in Rome.”
“That Scripture is out of date now.”
“I believe that Scripture actually means this or that.”
“Christ is merely being symbolic: the words themselves are not meaningful.”
“Our church has always professed this or that.” (Meaning every Sunday!)
“We are a New Testament church.” (Whatever that means!)
“Christ is not going to only protect 144,000 elect. That is merely symbolic.”
Once you dismiss anything of Christ, you can only follow the things that Satan has placed in this world and the lies of Satan regarding those few words of Christ that you do know. (Christians, yes, we are talking about your pastors here, but we are talking more about you here! So pay attention to the next sentence.) What Christ does not own; Satan owns! There are no other options in this world: there is no middle ground in the Great Controversy between Christ and Satan! This was Eve’s failure and today’s Christian pastors are doing far worse than she did.
Even worse, Christian pastors have not taught today’s Christians about never chasing rabbits in this world. We are to pursue only the Word of God and learn all of Christ’s various commands given to this world. The Word of God does not run away: it is there for any person to freely grasp. Did you notice that word, “freely?” Only Satan wants you chasing things that can never be caught. The more rabbits he can place in your life, the greater his chances of victory over you. Once you die, after chasing rabbits forever, Satan knows that he won his fight with you: and he knows you shall fail on Judgment Day.
Any Christian, today, can shed these evils found in their lives. But they must first shed themselves of Satan: meaning they must first shed their evil Sunday keeping pastors!
Only then . . .
Only then! Can they begin to follow the true, and unadulterated Word of God found in their Bible. This author strongly encourages the use of the King James Version. It is commonly referred to as the Authorized Version. For right or wrong, this author has always felt as though it was Christ, Himself, who placed that tag of “Authorized” upon that version. Could this author be wrong? Absolutely, but I don’t think so.
